First of all, lets thanks to Allah the al mighty giving us blessing and also Shalawat and salam be with our prophet Muhammad who has guided us from the darkness to the lightness.

Hello my name is Thoriq Tri  Prabowo, you can call me Thoriq, I come from “M” class at English Class on Center of Language, Culture, and Religion.

Thanks for the time, here I want to tell you about my study program “Library and Information Science” or famous with IPI (Ilmu Perpustakaan dan Informasi) program, sorry to be easier I called my program IPI, alright? OK thanks..

IPI program can be found at “Adab Faculty” it located beside the mosque and near from here (Center of Language, Culture, and Religion), did you know that my faculty so good? Yes, I thought you know, there’re 4 floors and also 4 toilets both of them hehe..

Adab Faculty has 5 study programs they’re IPI that’s my program, PII (Islamic Library and Information), BSA (Arab Language and Literature), SKI (History of Islamic Culture), and also SI (English Literature), Great Study Programs Aren’t They?

Lets begin to talk about my program, IPI (Library and Information Science), first time you hear it what do you think about my program? Have you ever  heard it before? Yes/no?  I think like that, so do I, first time I heard about this program I didn’t believe that the program exist, in my mind at IPI we’re just learned how to organize the books to be good looking on the boxes, but it was false! Actually didn’t like that, at IPI you’ll be learned how to make the books, oh I’m sorry not only the books, but also all information can be easier to be accessed by the user, this part taken by Catalog, how to make the information can be found not only by the title, but also can be found by the writer, or the keyword that have a related with the books themes, IPI program is not about how to organize the books only, IPI program gave us much skills, like computer skills, archives, and more. The skills that we got can be practice at home to make a little library as our practice before we enter to the work world future, what a fun IPI isn’t it? in the first semester we had visited the university’s library (around Yogyakarta), the task work in group to be made a report then presented in front of the class, and I thought it was fun, at IPI we could refresh, not only get lesson in the class but also could get lesson outside the class.
